The 56th International Contest of Habanera and Polyphony of Torrevieja barreled last night the final, just one evening - that of today - to end the competitive phase, with four choirs in Europe, from Lithuania, Hungary, Germany, as well Spain, Asturias concrete.
He began his acting Aidija Chamber Choir of Vilnius, Lithuania, under the direction of Romualda Grazinis, followed by "Golden Lion" in the Luanco (Asturias), with Marco Antonio Garcia de Paz in front. After the break it was the turn of competing at the Women's Choir High School of Cegléd Kossuth (Hungary), directed by Judith Lédeczi, ending the evening with the Studio Vocale Karlsruhe of Germany, led by Werner Pfaff.
Particularly in the evening yesterday, the presenter of the show, Carolina Casado stressed to the media the professional challenge is driving the event, given its great significance in the international choral scene. TVE Madrid journalist was very glad to be back again to present this edition, after the first experience of last year.
For his part, and on behalf of the Technical Commission, Aurelio Martinez said the evening had gone to meet the Committee's expectations, resulting in a high-level coral, showing thorough preparation undertaken by all participating choirs to be a the height of a competition that is increasingly demanding.
